K1 – Single Kayak

Our single kayak is the Prijon Touryak 500, a spacious touring kayak made from tough PE plastic. It is very stable on the water and still easy to paddle. The large cockpit stays comfortable even for tall paddlers on long days. Two watertight compartments hold around 190 litres in total, plus a small day hatch for things you want within reach. That is more than twice the capacity of a large hiking backpack.

The compartments are watertight, but we recommend dry bags for sensitive items such as electronics or down sleeping bags. The hatches measure about 30 x 40 cm, so a large trekking backpack will not fit through. Pack your gear in smaller dry bags instead.

K2 – Tandem Kayak

Our tandem kayak is the Boreal Design Esperanto. It is a touring double like no other, and we love this model. It is fast, very stable and easier to handle in wind than both single kayaks and canoes. The two cockpits are set well apart, so your paddles won’t clash even if you don’t paddle in sync.

The front and rear compartments are watertight, but we recommend dry bags for sensitive items such as electronics or down sleeping bags. The middle compartment is open to the rear seat. For this, we recommend our waterproof 35-litre dry bags.

C2/C3 – Standard Canoe

Our standard-size canoe is the Lettmann Trapper 490. It is easy to paddle and very stable, and its long waterline keeps it tracking straight. It has 3 seats, but you can also book it as a two-person canoe. For two people it is big enough even for trips of a week or more. For three people we recommend it for day trips and short tours with little gear.

C2/C3 big – Large Canoe

Our large canoe is the Lettmann Trapper 518. Its length, width and high sides give plenty of room for gear, and it stays stable even when fully loaded. We recommend it for two people with a lot of gear, or for three people on a multi-day trip.
