K1 – Single Kayak
We provide single kayaks from Prijon and Current Designs. These boats are, in our opinion, the best kayaks in terms of comfort, reliability and safety you will get in Sweden. They provide two waterproof compartments with a storage capacity of 120 – 150 litres. This is almost the double capacity of a large hiking backback.
The compartments are waterproof, but we recommend dry bags for sensitive equipment as electronics or down sleeping bags. This is due to moisture that can build up when packing wet and dry items together. Our single kayaks are stable enough for beginners under normal conditions on the lakes in Dalsland and Värmland. Yet the boats are fun to paddle and provide good speed even for experienced paddlers.
K2 – Tandem Kayak
Our tandem kayaks is the Boreal Design Esperanto. This is a rental K2 like no other and we love it! We’re sure, this is the best tandem kayak you can rent in Sweden. It has the same stability as a tandem canoe and almost the same load capacity. It’s faster and easier to handle in windy conditions, both compared to single kayaks and canoes.
The compartments in front and rear are waterproof, but we recommend dry bags for sensitive equipment as electronics or down sleeping bags. This is due to moisture that can build up when packing wet and dry item together. The middle compartemnt is open towards the rear seat. We recommend our 35 liter waterproof bags for it.
C2/C3 – Standard Canoe
Our standard size canoe is the Wenonah Northfork, a boat that combines stability with excellent speed. It has 3 seats, but you can book it as a tandem kayak too. If you are two people paddling for up to a week, this boat will do great. It’s also recommended for tree people on shorter trips.

C2/C3 big – Large Canoe
Our larger canoe type is the Old Town Penobscot 174. This is the longest canoe in PE-plastic, available for rental in Sweden*. And this is why we chose it for our rental station. If you want to rent a canoe for three people with gear for a week, then you will do great with this boat model.
*The Lettmann Trapper 518 is about 12 cm shorter, but due to its width and side wall height, it has slightly more loading capacity.
